Observed the isolation of the plate heat exchanger. In the heat exchanger, seawater is used to cool down the demineralized water.2) Observed the inspection of the diesel engine fire fighting pump which is located in the Fire Fighting Room.
3)Witnessed the arc welding process and technique. This welding method was used to increase the height of the main oil sump air ventilation pipe to avoid tripping hazard.
4) Assisted the Operations Technician for the daily power station reading measurement round.
5) Inserted sponge balls into the ball collecting tank of the steam turbine condenser tube cleaning system to remove dirt and sludge from it.
