Week 1

1) Power plant personnel safety briefing.

2) Provided with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

3) Plant tour by the host supervisor.

4) Assigned to the Operations Departmentas a trainee.

5) Assisted the operation of the Black Start Diesel Generator (BSDG) & Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG).

6) Observed the plant operations conducted from the Central Control Room (CCR).

7) Introduction to the KKS (Kraftwerk-Kennzeichen System) which is the Power Station Designation System.

8) Performed the Routine Test & Preventive Maintenance (RTPM) on the oil purifier which is used to remove sludge and dirt from oil.

9) Introduced to the equipments and processes in the Water Treatment Plant.

10) Measured the differential height of the seawater level at the bar screen to check whether the bar screen needs to be cleaned.
